Role Overview
Located in Adelaide's Outer Harbor and reporting directly to the Marine Services Team Leader you will work as part of a team to provide marine services to vessels and meet maintenance requirements for the port in Port Adelaide and Outer Harbor.
This role works an even time roster working 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and operate Flinders Ports launches for pilot transfer, minor maintenance and servicing of main engines and ancillary equipment;
* Prepare statistics and reports of vessel activities and performance;
* Assist with maintenance of port assets as required (i.e. wharf and navigation aids); and
* Use oil pollution response equipment as necessary under the direction of Transport SA or Flinders Ports emergency response coordinators.
About You
Your skills and experience will include;
* Master Class V Certificate of Competency and Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 of Competency;
* Administrative experience and strong computer literacy;
* Ability and experience working both independently and in a team;
* High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve;
* Current Drivers Licence; and
* Trade Qualification and/or understanding of Electrical systems highly desired.
