Overview
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to $10,000 under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme, recognising the role of key health workers in delivering rural and remote health services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and coordination in the development of effective models of care, treatment pathways and evidence-based therapeutic programmes for people with an eating disorder or related clinical issues across community and inpatient settings.
* Collaborate strategically with local executives, oversight committees and the state-wide coordination team to assist in completing and implementing the Local Eating Disorders Service Plan.
* Provide advanced clinical services, planned supervision to the MHDA teams by telehealth or site visits, and consider permanent location within FWLHD.

Qualifications
* Recognised degree in psychology, dietetics, social work, occupational therapy with eligibility for NSW Registration/Professional Association where relevant.
* Demonstrated track record of senior clinical leadership, service administration and management, project management and advanced level clinical competency including substantial specialist experience in eating disorder service provision.
* Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive change programmes and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor outcomes.
* Effective high level interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experience in provision of training and supervision to mental health practitioners in evidence-based therapies and interventions.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a manner that engenders mutual respect in a cross cultural environment and ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
* Current licence to drive in NSW.
