Prepare and deliver teaching and research activities for the undergraduate and post-graduate social work courses at CDU
About the Position
As a Lecturer Social Work, you will focus on the preparation and delivery of teaching and research activities within the Faculty of health’s undergraduate and post-graduate social work courses. Contributing to the development of curricula and utilising professional and discipline-related expertise in social work to deliver high-quality teaching, you’ll design and implement learning activities including lectures, tutorials, assessments and provide timely feedback to students. Your research and scholarship contributions will foster excellence and expand knowledge within the field of social work education.
About You
To be successful you will require:
1. A Bachelor or Master of Social Work (Qualifying)
2. Minimum of 5 years post qualifying practice experience as a social worker
3. Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
4. Post-graduate teaching qualification (desired)
5. A PhD in Social Work would be highly regarded (desired)

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Research Active Academic Level B and the base salary will be in the range of $108,333 to $128,087 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $126,749 to $149,861 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
