We’re seeking an experienced Earthworks Construction Manager to lead bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure activities on a remote greenfield mining site. Working a FIFO roster of 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off, you’ll be responsible for overseeing employees and contractors, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving progress on a high-impact international development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all bulk earthworks and civil construction works across the project site
- Lead contractor performance and ensure works meet project specifications and deadlines
- Coordinate with engineering, HSE, and project controls teams to ensure alignment
- Identify and mitigate construction risks to maintain safety and productivity
- Deliver reporting and updates to the Project Director and leadership team
About You
- Proven experience managing large-scale earthworks projects (mining or heavy civil)
- Robust leadership skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams and contractors
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, standards, and environmental regulations
- Previous experience in remote, FIFO, or international project environments
- Engineering or construction-related qualifications highly regarded
