We are seeking an experienced, proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive, governance, and organisational support to our Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. This is a pivotal role in a dynamic, regulated banking environment where professionalism, discretion, and exceptional organisational skills are essential.
About the Role
As our Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to senior leaders, ensuring seamless communication, effective governance processes, and alignment across strategic initiatives. You'll act as a trusted partner to the Executive team, manage sensitive information with discretion, and support the delivery of critical Board, Committee, and organisational activities.
What you'll be doing
* Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
* Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents as required.
* Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of executives, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for executives.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
* Undertake other administrative duties as required to support the executive team.
* Provide proactive, high-level support to the CEO, including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and correspondence.
* Support the Executive Leadership Team with scheduling, briefings, documentation, and action tracking.
* Assist the CFO with the preparation of Board and Asset‑liability Committee (ALCO) meeting materials.
* Coordinate and compile Board and Committee papers, ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
* Assist with Board logistics, minute‑taking (as required), and follow‑up actions.
* Support internal events, staff engagement activities, and external engagements.
What you will bring to the role
* Significant experience as an Executive Assistant.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
* High‑level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional correspondence and reports.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
* Experience supporting projects—research, tracking progress, identifying issues, and assisting with solutions.
* Proven ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgement.
* Commitment to organisational values, customer focus, and community banking principles.
* A collaborative approach, with experience working in a small, high‑performing team.
