About the role
Are you a payroll professional who loves getting the details right but also values working with people? This is your chance to step into a role where accuracy, relationships, and impact go hand in hand.
This is a part-time role, working a 64-hour fortnight across 8 or 9 days (flexible). It is a 6–12 month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
At ERGT, we believe payroll is more than just numbers — it's about supporting our people, making sure they feel valued, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. As our Payroll Coordinator, you'll not only manage the end-to-end payroll process but also be a trusted point of contact for staff and leaders, helping them navigate entitlements and processes with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll for 250+ employees, including timesheet approvals and adjustments
* Accurately process new starters, employee changes, and exits
* Optimise payroll systems (ADP & RealTime) and manage integrations with external platforms
* Deliver payroll reporting and analysis to support organisational needs
* Reconcile and process multiple state payroll tax, superannuation, and other deductions
* Provide clear, supportive guidance to staff and leaders on payroll matters
* Review processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
About you
* Proven experience in a payroll coordination or administration role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP, RealTime or similar).
* Understanding of payroll-related legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
* Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (10047NAT) or equivalent experience (desired)
* Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach.
* A people person – approachable, supportive, and able to build strong working relationships across the business.
