With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service, our client is seeking to add a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to support its growing operations in Mitchell and continue delivering reliable, high-standard automotive solutions.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
* Repair and service engines, transmissions and driveline components.
* Service suspension, steering and braking systems to manufacturer standards.
* Conduct logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
* Dismantle and reassemble engine assemblies and mechanical components.
* Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical or safety-related defects.
* Recommend and carry out necessary repairs on European vehicles.
* Test and adjust repaired components to ensure optimal performance.
* Use computer-based diagnostic systems to assess vehicle systems.
* Maintain accurate job records including parts and labour requirements.
* Ensure all work complies with safety and industry regulations.
* Road test vehicles to confirm quality and reliability of repairs.
* Liaise with customers regarding repair findings and recommendations.
* Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order.

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

* Minimum three years full-time experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic in a professional workshop environment.
* Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing European vehicles to manufacturer standards and specifications.
* Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology at Certificate III level or higher.
* Strong competency in using modern diagnostic tools and computer-based testing equipment.
* Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults independently.
* High attention to detail with commitment to safety and compliance standards.
* Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a small team environment.
* Valid Australian driver licence with ability to conduct road testing.
