About the role
As Account Director, you will be central to the successful execution of high-impact public relations, communication, and engagement strategies for top tier corporate clients. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships and leading the delivery of campaign elements.

Your focus will be on the big picture, deeply immersing yourself in the client's commercial and operational world to become a highly trusted advisor. By cultivating strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, you will drive innovative and strategic solutions that meet their key business objectives and KPIs. You will take ownership of a share of the firm's client account teams, meticulously overseeing all aspects of delivery – from ensuring the brief is met to the highest standard and expertly managing scope, budget and profitability.

Your specific duties will include:

* Leading the execution of integrated communications and PR strategies;
* Leading proactive and reactive media relations efforts, including building and maintaining media contacts, pitching compelling stories and handling media enquiries;
* Developing high-quality, client-ready content such as media releases, key messages, speeches, newsletters and websit / blog posts;
* Serving as the key day-to-day client contact, managing project timelines, tracking and managing scope and budgets and leading regular client reporting; and
* Overseeing press conferences, project launches, and media tours, ensuring flawless delivery.

About the person

You are a media and communications professional who is genuinely addicted to the pace and energy of agency life. Your career success is rooted in the PR agency environment – a context you not only understand but actively choose to continue excelling in – and you have a proven track record of successfully running multiple client accounts simultaneously. Culture is important to you and you enjoy mentoring and supporting others in the team.

You are, at heart, a passionate storyteller who enjoys securing outstanding, effective media coverage for your clients.

You possess razor-sharp strategic thinking, enabling you to contribute to and execute integrated communication plans that deliver measurable results. Your exceptional client management skills mean you are the indispensable, trusted advisor in the room, capable of handling project complexities and challenges with composure. You are meticulously organised, excel at taking full ownership, thrive under deadlines and possess an eagle eye for detail.
