About the role
Looking for a rewarding role where you can support the wellbeing of your local community? Join SA Pathology as a Pathology Collector and become part of a people focused team delivering important healthcare services. Experience in specimen collection, medical terminology or data entry is preferred, but not essential, as full on the job training and support will be provided. Minimal shift work is required.
In this role, you will support efficient laboratory services through specimen collection, transport, sorting and labelling, while providing excellent customer service to patients, clinicians and stakeholders. Working under supportive guidance, you will build practical skills and knowledge while assisting with a range of clinical and administrative duties that contribute to safe and timely pathology services.
