A unique opportunity exists for a dedicated and passionate professional to join our health promotion team in the Big Rivers region.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, delivering, and evaluating health promotion initiatives that support healthy relationships, consent, positive parenting, and addressing family, domestic and sexual violence. They will work closely with a therapeutic team to deliver culturally tailored education and community engagement that aligns with program deliverables.
Responsibilities will include:
* Working alongside a therapeutic team to develop and deliver culturally appropriate health promotion education and community engagement.
* Assisting with the planning and implementation of community events, such as festivals, school-based activities, and on-country healing camps.
* Developing and distributing health promotion resources, including lesson plans, animations, print materials, videos, and social media content in collaboration with community members.
* Participating in team meetings, training, and supervision, contributing insights from the work to support integrated service delivery.

Requirements
* Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
* Ability to hold a NT Working with Children's card, Criminal History Clearance, and NT Drivers Licence.
* Experience in health promotion, community engagement, or a related field.
* Previous experience living or working in a remote community.
* Strong motivation for making a positive impact in the lives of remote communities.
