Stock Coordinator Job
This role involves supporting the Governance Supervisor to enhance stocktaking capabilities and improve service delivery efficiency. You will execute stocktake and spot check programs, operate inventory management systems, and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute stocktake and spotcheck programs.
* Analyze and evaluate information to report discrepancies and stocktaking issues.
* Ensure stocktakes are initiated and completed within the planned timeframe.
* Conduct and record stock counts and participate in Research, Investigation, and Stocktaking processes.
* Prepare and provide relevant reports, achieving performance targets in stocktaking.
* Collaborate with other Stock Coordinators and liaise with depot staff to address warehousing matters.
* Support the Governance Supervisor and participate in departmental meetings for continuous improvement.
* Contribute to Operations Group activities and undertake small projects as required.
The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, very good numeric, oral and written communication skills, broad knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience within the defence and/or warehousing environment would be highly advantageous.
