About the Role
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing leadership on all site activities in a close relationship and collaboration with the Project Management team. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.
What You Will Do:
* Manage the site teamto ensure work is carried out to a high standard at all times
* Foster a strong safety culture, making safety the number one priority
* Collaborate with project management team to ensure compliance with client & McMahon Services' processes
* Training, mentor, lead & motivate staff on project sites
* Ensure project is meeting time and resource management
* Manage short term planning to ensure project milestones are achieved
What You Will Bring:
* Proven experience in site management and project delivery within the construction sector
* Construction trade qualified or equivalent industry experience
* Strong understanding of construction programs and methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to obtain a defence clearance
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
What Will Set You Apart:
* Demonstrated ability todeliver complex projects on time and within budget
* Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Aconex & MS Project
* Proven track record of driving safety, quality and productivity outcomes
* Leadership experience and the ability to mentor others.
