Cloud Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled engineer to support application remediation, cloud readiness, and migration projects. You will play a key role in modernising legacy environments, troubleshooting issues across on-prem and cloud platforms, and ensuring smooth transition of workloads into the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
* Remediate and support legacy applications to enable Azure cloud adoption.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
* Assist with data centre decommissioning and cloud workload migrations.
* Conduct pre-migration assessments, testing, and post-migration validation.
* Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver migration outcomes.
* Provide Level 2/3 application support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 5+ years in application support, remediation, or systems administration.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP valued).
* Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, middleware, and integration points.
* Familiarity with scripting, automation, monitoring, and ITIL processes.
* Relevant tertiary qualification; cloud certifications highly regarded.
