Role Overview:
A Psychologist in an ABN contractor role is required to provide mental health support to NDIS participants by enhancing their independence and daily living skills through evidence-based therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
* Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions (in-person and/or telehealth) to cater to diverse participant needs
* Prepare accurate and timely progress notes, reports, and behaviour support recommendations
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic participant outcomes and contribute to a cohesive service approach
* Maintain high-quality documentation in compliance with NDIS Practice Standards
Requirements:
* Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Psychologist
* ABN and professional indemnity/public liability insurance for adequate protection
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain the necessary clearance
* Desirable experience working with NDIS participants, fostering strong relationships and understanding of individual needs
* Exceptional communication, documentation, and time management skills for efficient delivery of services
