A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Work in all areas of the kitchen i.e. Restaurant, Banquets, Breakfast, Room service.
Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
Stay up to date with knowledge of current food trends
Actively build product knowledge in order to up sell products and provide One Step Ahead service to guests.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management and Colleagues alike.
Ensure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene and HACCP standards
Cooperate and partner with management in the implementation of workplace health, safety and wellbeing related initiatives
Following kitchen and hotel policies, procedures and brand standards
What We Need From You
You must have working rights in Australia
Commercial cookery certificate III or related field
Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience in either a Hotel Banquets or Restaurant
Previous experience to HACCP process and procedures
Strong teamwork skills, self-development focus and strong drive for results.
A high energy level and a passion for customer service.
