About the role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Shift Supervisor to join our team at Balco Wannamal. This is a full-time role based in Wannamal, WA 6505 at our 24/7 hay processing facility where raw agricultural product is compressed, processed and prepared for export. Operations run continuously across rotating shifts therefore in this pivotal position, you will be responsible of leading shift operations, build capability across the team, and support safe, efficient production performance.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will:
• Lead and support Shift Supervisors and production staff.
• Maintain competency matrices and deliver onboarding/training.
• Support production scheduling, staffing, and workflow planning.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS procedures.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support improvement projects.
• Coordinate with site leadership to optimise plant performance.
• Drive performance through coaching, feedback, and team.
You will need to possess the following:
* Qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Proven supervisor leadership experience in production.
* Strong safety focus and effective communication skills.
* Ability to coach teams, manage performance, and build capability.
* Good organisational skills and competence with production systems.
