Decorama has been locally owned and operated in Tasmania since its establishment in 1975 specialising in all interior soft furnishings. Decorama is one of Tasmania's most trusted leading window coverings manufacturing and installation company for curtains, blinds and shutters which services the commercial and residential sectors in Tasmania.
All curtains are designed and handmade in our onsite workroom and our blinds are handcrafted to order in our manufacturing facilities.
The Decorama team are dedicated and experienced in the soft furnishing industry and has provided a wealth of product knowledge to our customers for many years. We offer our clients expert advice with true professionalism and are passionate about achieving the best results for our customers.
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a sales consultant in the Hobart showroom to:
A passion for fabric and interiors
Complete general store administrative duties and day-to-day operations
Manage point-of-sale processes, including invoices and orders and the receiving and processing of payments
Maintain a high level of customer service
Ensure Merchandising of the store follows the company merchandising guidelines.
Stock management: Transferring of stock and taking part in stock takes when required
Required:
Receiving goods
have an ability to learn and retain technical product information.
ideally will have previous experience in sales consulting roles
be highly motivated and enthusiastic, and have a strong work ethic
have a professional presentation and demeanour
have basic computer skills, including MS Excel
have excellent data entry skills
