Gippsland Orthodontics' team is expanding and we are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team, providing specialist orthodontic care to our local patient's with the highest standards in mind. We are a fast paced practice that aims to provide the highest quality of care in a friendly and caring environment.

Gippsland Orthodontics is a specialist provider of exemplary orthodontic care with attention to detail and a focus on customer service. Our local Orthodontist, Dr Adam Wallace, has returned home to provide orthodontic care to the Gippsland region, after almost 20 years working in Melbourne.
We currently work in a brand new custom-designed specialist clinic conveniently located in Warragul.
Who we're looking for:
This role that you are applying for is a part time position (up to 4 days a week)with 8 hour shifts. There are no Saturdays, Sundays or late nights.
* Certificate III & IV in Dental Assisting or dental experience is strongly preferred.
* Previous orthodontic experience an advantage but not essential
* A motivated and positive "can do" attitude
* A warm and friendly personality
* Excellent customer service skills and a focus on patient experience and quality care
* Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate and competent manner
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail
* Professional and well-groomed presentation

Role responsibilities:
* Chairside assisting to orthodontist and/or oral health therapist with the ability to assist with reception duties as needed
* Clinic preparation
* Patient care and management
* Sterilising and instrument processing
* Maintain a clean clinical environment
* Utilising practice software to record and chart
* Assist the reception team with administrative tasks, payments and appointment scheduling
