What you'll be doing
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician within the PCLI program, you will play a critical role in supporting consumers with complex, long-term mental illness to transition from hospital to meaningful community living. You will lead care coordination, influence practice change, and champion recovery-oriented care.
* Deliver specialist assessment, care planning and coordination for complex consumers
* Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams
* Drive service improvement, education, research and evidence-based practice
* Collaborate with consumers, carers and agencies to support recovery outcomes
* Provide intensive outreach and ensure continuity of care into the community

Essential Requirements:
* Qualification: Bachelor degree or higher level
* Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, Nurse or Psychologist, or eligibility to be a member of the AASW as a Social Worker (Registered Nurse requires at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and approved post registration nursing qualifications relevant to the position)
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
* Proven recent experience in a mental health leadership and/or change management role.
* Proven clinical experience within a multi-disciplinary team with the ability to provide consultancy, supervision, education and training on clinical issues.
* Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills, computer competence and literacy, including the use of database systems.
* Proven organisational skills and ability to lead clinical staff and promote change in a positive manner, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to deal with conflict.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
* Current NSW Driver Licence.
