Snowy 2.0
. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role
General drafting as required to support Chief Office Manager and Construction Area Manager.
Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture
White Card
Experience
Minimum 1 year's of experience working in a similar role
Fully capable to operate with AutoCAD 2D & 3D, preparation in draft and final revision of civil/structural drawings ready for production. Computation of quantities.
Knowledge of drafting standards
Good knowledge of Revit is an advantage
Understanding of the building process, different construction methods, read drawings from multiple disciplines
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Preparation of shop drawings based on Structural / Civil design, calculation and computation.
Issue of Construction Drawings (shop-drawings) based on the original Final Design;
Computation of structural / civil quantities and verification/adjustment of bar lists;
Archive the project drawings, final design, shop-drawings and as-built;
Co-operation with the Senior Draftsman, Chief Office Manager and Senior Engineer
Identify potential design/construction problems and clashes
Fulfil the project's drafting requirements
