Lead Cancer Care Pharmacist Role
This vital role involves shaping and supporting safe, effective patient-centred cancer care delivery. As a Senior Pharmacist for Cancer Services, you will lead expert clinical pharmacy support to Oncology and Haematology services.
You will ensure prescribing safety, preparation and administration of systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT) and collaborate with Consultants, Nurses and Multidisciplinary teams to optimise treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide senior level clinical pharmacy expertise to Oncology and Haematology services.
* Evaluate and improve prescribing, preparation and administration practices for systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT).
* Enhance collaboration with Consultants, Nurses and Multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal treatment results.
The ideal candidate possesses high-level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist, including advanced knowledge of therapeutics in oncology and haematology.
They will have demonstrated staff management experience in public hospital environments, showcasing leadership, teamwork promotion and innovation.
