The Role
This is a full-timeGrounds and Maintenance Supervisor position located at Reflections HolidaysNorth Haven.
Thisrole is responsible for supervising the Grounds team and overseeing themaintenance and grounds work within the park and provides support to the ParkManager to ensure the property is operated in accordance with ReflectionsHolidays' policies and procedures.
You willbe working to a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, peak holidayseasons, and on-call duties.
KeyResponsibilities include:
* Supervision, rostering, and training of Grounds teams.
* Undertake general grounds maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
* Undertake mowing, slashing, brush cutting and edging of groundsand lawns.
* Undertake garden maintenance, weeding, spraying, pruning andmulching.
* Undertake cabin maintenance as required.
* Maintain gardens, trees and fencing to ensure a safe environmentfor guests and park staff.
* Removal of deceased animals and wildlife as required.
* Operate plant and equipment.
* Carry out maintenance, servicing and basic repairs to watersupply, drainage and septic/sewerage systems.
* Assist in the care and control of native and introduced animalswithin the park.
* Carry out road and infrastructure maintenance, projects andconstruction within the park.
* Carry out more complex repairs and maintenance on park buildingsand facilities.
* Complete servicing and repairs on the parks plant, pumps, vehiclesand machinery.
* Coordinate and complete cleaning of amenities blocks, campkitchen, BBQ's, fish cleaning tables and picking up of general rubbish asrequired.
* Carry out security checks andpatrols of the park.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to:
* Demonstrate solid maintenanceskills, preferably with trade experience.
* Strong supervisory skills tolead a team.
* Demonstrate ability to performtasks within the key responsibilities detailed above.
* Show a passion for providing anamazing guest experience.
* Perform a complaint handlingand conflict resolution process.
Experience in hospitality and tourism industry is desirable.
