The Opportunity
We’re seeking a trade qualified, experienced Auto Electrician to join our modern Paget workshop in a senior capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring apprentices, leading by example, and helping build strong technical capability within the team.
You’ll work across a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, keeping your skills sharp while playing a key role in developing the next generation of auto electricians.

What you’ll be doing:
* Working primarily in our fully equipped Paget workshop alongside skilled mechanics and auto electricians
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices through hands on guidance, best practices, and knowledge sharing
* Carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicle air-conditioning systems
* Performing both routine and complex electrical troubleshooting safely and efficiently
* Occasionally attending client sites for field repairs and maintenance
* Contributing to a collaborative, professional workshop culture that values quality work and continuous improvement
* Diagnosing, fault finding, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems on:
o Light vehicles
o On & off-highway trucks
o Buses
o Refrigerated trucks
o Tractors and agricultural machinery
o Ancillary equipment
What we're looking for:
* Trade Qualification in Auto Electrical Technology
* Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
* Valid Driver’s Licence (Provisional or Open)
* Strong post-trade workshop experience across varied vehicles and equipment
* A motivated team player who takes pride in their work
* Someone who enjoys mentoring apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture
* A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professional standards
