Job Summary:
As a Shed Builder/Roof Labourer, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of roofs, and install and construction of sheds. You will work closely with experienced shed installer/roofers and tradespeople, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Shed Builder/Roof Labourers to join our growing team.
What You'll Do:
* Build and assemble custom sheds and outdoor structures
* Read and follow building plans and measurements
* Assist in installing, repairing, and replacing roofing materials (metal sheets, insulation, etc.).
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely
* Set up and dismantle scaffolding and ladders as required
* Load and unload roofing materials and transport them to the worksite
* Perform general labouring duties to support roofers and tradespeople, as required
* Work both independently and as part of a team
* Maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements:
* White Card (Construction Induction Card) – Mandatory for working on construction sites
* Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
* Driver's License and Reliable Transport to get to sites
* Experience in Shed Building/Roofing or Construction is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training provided
* Work both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to Work at Heights, and be comfortable working on rooftops
Casual role with potential part time/full time for right candidate, with above award wages.
