Electrify your future.**About the role**AGL has an exciting opportunity for a **Technical Closure & Delivery Coordinator** to join our **Site Transition team**, supporting the delivery of closure and rehabilitation works at **Liddell or Bayswater Power Station (Muswellbrook, NSW)**.**Location:** based on-site at our **Liddell** or **Bayswater Power Station (Muswellbrook, NSW).**This role is based on site and plays a key part in coordinating on‐ground activities for the **Liddell Ash Dam Closure Program**, working closely with engineers, contractors and environmental specialists to ensure safe, compliant and efficient delivery of closure outcomes.You'll be part of a collaborative, high‐impact team driving one of AGL's most important transition programs - aligned to our values of *Bring on tomorrow, Can Do. Be Supportive.***What you will be doing**As a Technical Closure & Delivery Coordinator, you will support the planning and on‐site execution of closure and rehabilitation works, ensuring alignment with approved strategies, environmental requirements and delivery timelines.Key aspects of the role include:* Coordinating site‐based closure and rehabilitation activities across internal teams and contractors* Supporting the delivery of closure work packages, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements are met* Working closely with engineers and environmental specialists to implement approved closure and rehabilitation strategies* Supporting site investigations and assessments to inform delivery and stakeholder requirements* Preparing technical and factual reports to support compliance, delivery tracking and decision‐making* Maintaining accurate records including contracts, purchase orders, site documentation and correspondence* Assisting with procurement and tendering activities, providing delivery‐focused input and recommendations* Supporting contract administration, including monitoring contractor performance and progress* Ensuring strong compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements across all activities**What you will bring**To succeed in this role, you'll bring hands‐on experience in site‐based project coordination, combined with strong organisational capability and a safety-first mindset.* Tertiary qualification in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Land Management or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)* Experience coordinating site‐based projects within infrastructure, energy, mining or environmental environments - closure, rehabilitation or environmental projects (highly regarded)* An understanding of safety, environmental and regulatory compliance in operational or site setting with an ability to coordinate contractors and support delivery of work packages on site* Well‐developed communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with site teams, contractors and stakeholders* Strong organisational and administrative capability, including document control and reporting* Analytical problem‐solving skills, with the ability to interpret site conditions and support delivery decisions* Proficiency in MS Office and reporting/document management systems* Exposure to contract administration, procurement or delivery tracking (desirable)***Don't tick all the boxes?
