Overview
Corymbia State School is a growing, inclusive school that centres on student needs and supports diverse learners, with a primary focus on English language acquisition for our large EALD community. We are seeking a passionate EALD teacher to join our foundation team in 2026 to help shape a new school community from the ground up and support high-quality, inclusive education for all learners.
Responsibilities
* Lead the EALD portfolio across the whole school as the foundation EALD teacher.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to embed evidence-informed practices for EAL/D learners.
* Implement targeted supports to help EAL/D students thrive and contribute to an inclusive education program.
* Contribute to establishing a positive school culture and support ongoing school development for an expanding EALD population.
Qualifications
* Relevant teaching qualification
* Full or provisional QCT registration
* Australian working rights or valid visa
* Pre-service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply (include practicum reports, mentor statements & unofficial transcript)
