Crew Leader Urban Forest – Full Time
- Salary: $73,553 per annum ($1,414 per week)
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
- 9-day fortnight

The City is seeking experienced and motivated Urban Forest Crew Leaders to guide and support teams responsible for the care and maintenance of our city’s trees and streetscapes. In this hands‑on leadership role, you will coordinate daily operations to ensure the effective delivery of scheduled urban forest programs and responsive maintenance activities.
You will play a key role in maintaining the health, safety, and beauty of the City’s urban forest while delivering exceptional service to residents, ratepayers, and colleagues. Applicants must have at least two years of experience in tree and streetscape maintenance and possess the following certifications:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or Arboriculture or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
- WA MR Class Drivers Licence.
- Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).
Desirable or willing to obtain:
- Appropriate plant operating certificates:
- Chainsaw Operators Certificate.
- Current RIIHAN307E - HIAB Crane Certificate (desirable).
- EWP Operators Certificate (desirable).
- Chemical Certificate (Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases AHCCHM307, Transport and store chemicals AHCCHM304 and Control weeds AHCPMG301) or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months.
- Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months.
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009) (desirable).
