Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Accountant to lead our Finance & Accounts function.
This leadership role is critical to ensuring the integrity of our financial systems, the accuracy of our reporting, and compliance across our operations.

Position Responsibilities
As a key leader within the corporate services team, you will work in a hands-on position in accounting day to day along with providing guidance to a small accounts team.
Lead the Finance & Accounts team (Finance Officer + Accounts Officer)
Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end reports
Oversee NDIS revenue recognition and high-level reconciliations
Manage BAS, PAYG, superannuation, payroll reconciliation, and ATO compliance
Strengthen internal controls and financial processes
Support external audits and NDIS financial reviews
Provide cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
Ensure accuracy of all billing, claims, and revenue data
About You
We are looking for a Finance and Accounting professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in hands-on accounting roles ideally in the NDIS or community services sector and values that align with the industry.
You will thrive in this role if you are a hands-on accountant who enjoys both leadership and technical detail.
You will bring:
Strong experience in financial accounting, payroll oversight, and statutory reporting
Advanced analytical skills and strong problem-solving capability
High attention to accuracy and data integrity
Expertise with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Confident communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive approach to process improvement and delivering results
Formal qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
Membership with a recognised accounting body (CPA/CA/IPA)
Experience within the NDIS, SIL, SDA, or community services sector is desirable along with NDIS clearance, police clearance and a valid working with children check or willingness to apply.
