This recruitment pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts and permanent opportunities.
Currently there is one permanent Level 4 position, and one fixed term Level 5 position available for immediate filling, with another permanent Level 5 position becoming available in March 2026.

About The Role

Senior Case Management
Assessor
The Senior Case Management Assessor is responsible for the assessment, review and implementation of assessments and report development of prisoners, in collaboration with prison management. The Senior Case Management Assessor will motivate, support and develop Case Management Assessors, providing advice with regard to prisoner risk, custody and containment issues.
The Senior Case Management Assessor will be required to develop staff in the areas of assessment and case management, coordinate and quality control assessments (particularly security classifications) and other reports. The position will also undertake individual assessments, referrals and reports on prisoners for prison and releasing authorities by collating information obtained from various sources and direct interviews.

The Case Management Assessor is responsible for undertaking individual assessments, referrals and reports on prisoners for prison and releasing authorities by collating information obtained from various sources and direct interviews.
The Case Management Assessor ensures the appropriate classification and assessment of prisoners and contributes to their case management. This includes sentence planning that encourages employment and program activities, the development of prisoner and staff relationships and assists with institutional operations aimed towards positive prison environments and prisoner development

Pool Recruitment
