Are you seeking a dynamic and exciting work environment where you can contribute to providing a welcoming and friendly experience for patrons and guests attending our property? The Ville Resort-Casino are currently looking for two Permanent Part-time Security Officers to join the team.
The Role
As part of The Ville Resort-Casino Security Team you will receive attractive rates of pay above the award, laundered uniforms provided on each shift, paid training and licenses, a great team environment, and excellent job security.
The roles available are for a week on week off (7/7) roster option or leave fill in with full time hours available for both roster options. The successful applicant must be willing to work shifts across a 24hr rotating roster.
As a Security Officer at The Ville Resort-Casino, you'll play a crucial role within our dedicated team, safeguarding the well-being of our employees, visitors, and guests. The role will require entry screening into licensed areas, the removal of unduly, disorderly or undesirable persons from the property, be responsible as a first aid officer for the property, responsible for fire and emergency response at the property.
Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of security services aimed at fostering a secure environment.
Your commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests will be matched by your diligence in protecting our business assets and upholding casino compliance standards.
About You
* Previous relevant experience in Security/Crowd Control, Defence, or Corrections will be well regarded.
* A person of the highest degree of character and integrity.
* Able to obtain a QLD Casino Employee License (License facilitated and paid for by the business for successful candidate upon commencement).
* First Aid and CPR (current or able to obtain).
* Outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised.
* Flexibility to be rostered for shiftwork across a 24-hour operation.
* Physically fit with the ability to stand or be active for extended periods of time.
* Exceptional attention to detail, along with a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
* Current Statement of Attainment in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling is mandatory prior to commencement.
