Job Title: Medical Professional
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate medical professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be able to work independently.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to make a real difference in people's lives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
* Greeting and interviewing potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability to donate.
* Providing clinical oversight and guidance to other team members during the blood collection process.
* Performing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
* Setting up equipment and collections.
* Collecting whole blood, plasma, and platelets safely and efficiently.
* Responding to donor reactions and providing physical assistance if needed.
* Monitoring donors post-donation and assisting them with rebooking.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* The ability to occasionally lift between 9-22.7kgs.
* Frequent standing, walking, and bending to set up and pack down equipment.
* A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, and current AHPRA registration.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
