About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to provide supervision and leadership on each project to ensure Hindmarsh Plumbing's objectives are met including cost efficiency, health and safety, quality and performance.
What your day-to-day could look like
Development and implementation of contract delivery strategies.
Management of Quality, Safety and Environmental initiatives, management, systems and on projects.
Management of a site team, including supervising, training and directing team members and apprentices and coordinating on-job training for staff.
Pre-plan work for the plumbing team.
Plan labour requirements and coordinate with the Project Manager.
Team morale, attitude and continuity of productivity on projects.
Reporting to Project Manager on project status, feedback and projected completion.
Role model behaviours consistent with the QHSE Management system.
Ensure the QHSE management system is implemented on every project including the completion of permits and checklists as required.
Provide positive and constructive performance feedback to the site team and relay to the HR team for performance reviews.

What are we looking for?
You will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications:
A current South Australian Plumbers and Gas Fitters License;
Ability to supervise and coordinate the activity of employees and provide feedback as required;
Ability to resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions;
Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance processes as they relate to project management, hydraulic and mechanical plumbing;
Knowledge and thorough understanding of the AS****: National Plumbing Code, AS****: Gas Installations and Plumbers, Gasfitters and Electricians Act ****.
