Bidfood Central Coast is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Storeperson at our Somersby branch. This role is for the morning shift, working from Monday to Saturday on a rotating roster, starting 2:00am and finishing 10:00am.

Bidfood is a national foodservice leader, and you'll play a key role in keeping things moving behind the scenes, ensuring products are picked, packed and delivered with precision.
This role suits someone who works well in a fast‐paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It's physical, it's practical and it's essential to the success of hospitality businesses.
About the role
* Pick and assemble goods accurately
* Load trucks efficiently and safely
* Receive, put away and rotate stock
* Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
* Perform duties in freezer environments (down to –25 °C)
* Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
* Work overtime when required to meet demand
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You're punctual, practical and a team player. The kind of person others can count on when it gets busy.
Previous warehouse experience and a forklift licence are an advantage, but more important is your work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn.
Skills and experience
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus)
* Good communication and time‐management skills
* Forklift licence with reach experience
* Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry areas
* Able to pass a pre‐employment medical (if required)
