* Sound judgement, political acumen, and a strong understanding of community safety, environmental health, and immunisation legislation and contemporary practices
* Comprehensive knowledge of legislative frameworks and political processes in a Local Government environment
* Strategic thinking skills, including the ability to plan for long-term outcomes aligned to public health and animal management priorities
* Passion for collaborative leadership, coaching, developing, and growing people at all levels
