Join us in shaping the future of rail signaling and make a lasting impact on the world's transportation infrastructure.As a Mechanical Engineer (Signaling), you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems within complex signaling environments, such as trains and railway wayside infrastructure.
This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, cross disciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical leadership, innovation, and the ability to manage multiple engineering projects with minimal supervision.
Key Activities Lead the mechanical design and development of signaling components and systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.Writing and developing technical specificationsDesign parts, assemblies and drawings using CADCross departmental collaboration in design feasibility and continuous improvementCreate designs according to company procedures, regulations and client standardsReview and release technical drawings and BOMsCalculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, thermal and structural analysisPerform First Article Inspections (FAI) at supplier facilitiesEnsure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., AREMA, IEEE, ISO, MIL STD) and regulatory requirements.
