Psychologist Role Overview
This is a permanent part-time opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The role involves working across two sites, providing psychological assessment, formulation, individual therapy and group therapy to resident consumers.
Main Responsibilities
* To provide high-quality psychological interventions to assist consumers in achieving their recovery goals, increasing independence and building an improved quality of life.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and improve CCU and PARC psychological services and group programs.
* Participate in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
Key Requirements
* Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, with Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
* Experience practicing in Psychology under a Recovery Orientated Mental Health Service Framework.
* Sound knowledge and skills in evidence-based psychological therapies, such as CBT, ACT, DBT, CFT.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge and skills in evidence-based psychological therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
