Social Media Specialist (Paid Ads & Content Strategist) – Remote (Smithfield, NSW)
Hourly Rate: $30 per hour
Hours: 5 hours per week (flexible scheduling) - plus additional hours as required.

Are you a results-driven marketer with a strong understanding of paid advertising and content strategy? We're looking for a proactive Social Media Specialist, with a heavy focus in Paid Ads & Content Strategy to join our team and take ownership of our digital marketing efforts across Meta, Google, and beyond.

About the Role:
In this role, you will manage our paid social and Google ads, track campaign performance, and continuously optimise for results. You will also be responsible for developing our content strategy and calendar — across both BAU (business-as-usual) posting and seasonal campaigns — ensuring our messaging aligns with brand goals, audience needs, and business priorities.
You'll collaborate closely with the studio owner and media team to bring creative, compelling, and strategic content ideas to life.
Whilst we would love for you to have content creation experience so that you can create content, you will also work with a team of content creators to assist in supporting your role requirements in paid ads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, build, and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google
* Monitor and analyse ad performance, adjusting strategies to maximise ROI
* Provide weekly reports on ad performance and optimise accordingly- MUST have experience in paid ads and testing for Facebook, Instagram and Google
* Develop and manage a consistent content strategy and monthly calendar for both evergreen and campaign-based content with the media team
* Collaborate with our in-house media and sales teams to align content with studio goals
* Recommend and implement strategies for audience growth, engagement, and conversion
* Stay up to date with current trends in digital advertising and social content
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in managing Facebook/Instagram and Google Ads
* Strong understanding of digital content strategy and campaign planning
* Confident with analytics, ad reporting, and optimisation
* Creative thinker with excellent communication and organisational skills
* Able to commit to 5 set hours per week (your choice of days/times) plus additional hours where needed. Main role is for ads management
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay aligned with team goals
