The Content Specialist will create and maintain learning content for all Fivecast products and audiences. They will create engaging, up-to-date blended and microlearning solutions, supports regional localisation with a "global first" approach, and ensures program consistency across all training touchpoints. This role is central to quarterly release cycles and collaborates closely with global and customer-facing teams to meet business and customer needs.
Content Creation and Maintenance
* Design digital learning content for Fivecast Academy.
* Develop global content templates and collaborate with regional LX teams and trainers to localise/adapt materials per market or regulatory needs.
* Maintain a central, up-to-date collection of training materials, ensuring all content reflects current versions, branding, and product updates across both the Academy and the Training Library.
* Build a strong understanding of how our products are used by our customers.
* Work with translation/localisation vendors to adapt content for non-English markets, ensuring quality, compliance, and cultural relevance of localised modules.
* Ensure ongoing evaluation of our current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
* Collect and report on feedback from learners and internal stakeholders.
Cross Team Collaboration
* Run regular meetings with a panel of internal global stakeholders who are subject matter experts, to validate technical accuracy, review instructional approaches, and provide feedback on specialised or niche content.
* Work with Sales & Tradecraft as subject matter expertise for validation of learning materials for customer accuracy.
* Work with Marketing to align branding, tone, and leverage customer-facing collateral as learning assets (e.g., case studies or webinars becoming microlearning content).
* Work closely with our Product teams to ensure content is updated alongside the product roadmaps, new features and releases, and changes to the user manual.
* Work alongside our UX Design team to develop training elements congruent with the user experience and our design process.
Requirements
* Australian citizen, based in Adelaide Australia.
* Previous experience using OSINT gathering or analysis within the intelligence, government or defence sectors.
* Some experience in creating technical training content for SaaS or computer software audiences, preferably in a global or rapidly scaling business.
* Portfolio of work across multiple learning mediums (SCORM, xAPI, video, microlearning, assessment).
* Basic video/audio production/editing capability.
* Ability to digest complex technical information and transform that into clear learning objectives, programs, and content
* Strong organisational skills and experience in project managing content cycles across time zones and distributed teams.
* Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, be proactive, self-motivated and work with a high level of autonomy.
