An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Full Time Chef at this independently owned property.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Preparing, cooking and serving high quality meals
* The effective and efficient operation of the kitchen
* Managing kitchen equipment
* Receiving and examining supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet venue and food safety standards
* Abiding by food safety regulations
* Ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen
* Refreshing menu seasonally and creating weekly chef specials
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Lunch & Dinner
* Have previous experience as a chef
* Work well in a team structure
* Self motivated
* Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to create seasonal menu with costings
* Experience in ordering accurately
* Completed FOODSAFE Supervisors Certificate
* Unrestricted Approved Manager
