Join a growing and dynamic team delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across Western Australia. Genus is seeking a motivated Junior Proposal Coordinator to support our Estimating and Commercial team in delivering high‐quality bid submissions and business support.
This is an excellent entry‐level opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who is looking to build a career in bids, proposals, or commercial project support within the construction, utilities, or resources sector.
You will play a key role in coordinating tender submissions, maintaining proposal documentation, and supporting internal stakeholders to deliver winning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage bid and proposal documentation from start to submission
* Maintain and organise the central bid library and document control systems
* Assist with the preparation, formatting, and collation of tender submissions
* Support Estimators and the Commercial team with administrative tasks
* Coordinate timelines to ensure all submissions meet deadlines
* Provide marketing and branding support for proposals and company materials
* Manage stakeholder communication throughout the bid process
* Assist with general office administration, including document handling and correspondence
About You
* 1‐2 years' experience in administration or a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Experience in construction, utilities, or resources industries
* Qualification in Business, Marketing, or Project Administration
Requirements
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Work rights in Australia
