About the Role
We are seeking a skilled culinary professional to join our kitchen team as a Chef. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and events.
You will work closely with our dedicated team to uphold catering standards, comply with OH&S and HACCP regulations, and maintain a strong focus on waste reduction.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing high-quality, buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and events
* Upholding catering standards, complying with OH&S and HACCP regulations, and maintaining a strong focus on waste reduction
* Supporting kitchen operations by managing inventory, receiving supplies, and monitoring cold room controls
* Providing exceptional customer service during all interactions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Licence and transport to access site, no public transport required
* Proven experience in large commercial kitchens
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergen management, and food safety
* Passion for quality, with a focus on presentation and attention to detail
