This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, well-respected Cairns real estate agency that is currently seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional to join their small team.
This is a full‐time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Car park space is provided and use of a company vehicle during business hours.
This position will be responsible for managing routine inspections and coordinating maintenance across the agency's property portfolio.
The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment and enjoys providing top‐notch service to both tenants and property owners.
This role may be a great fit for someone with a trade or property maintenance background who is personable and looking to transition off the tools while still using their industry knowledge in a customer‐focused, office‐based role.
Previous experience in real estate or a related industry is preferred, however not essential.
The Role
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
* Conducting routine property inspections
* Coordinating and managing maintenance requests
* Liaising professionally with tenants, property owners, and tradespeople
* Adapting to changing priorities and urgent requests at short notice
* Maintaining accurate records using PropertyMe and other company templates
The Agency Is Looking For Someone Who Is
* Mature, reliable, and professional in their approach
* Strong in customer service and communication
* Confident in handling interactions with both tenants and property owners
* Organised, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changes
* Motivated to take full ownership of the role
* Skilled in using computer systems, such as PropertyMe (or similar) and data entry
* Real Estate Licence or Diploma is highly regarded; the agency is happy to support the right candidate in obtaining this qualification.
Salary guide: $60–80k + super aligned with skills and experience.
