Job Description

At I-MED we believe in working as a team and delivering high quality healthcare, to every patient, every time.

Due to growth and demand, I-MED is pleased to be offering a Full-Time Permanent position (Part-Time and casual will be considered) for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist within a busy private hospital setting within the Eastern Region (Box Hill). The hours will run from 6:00am to 6:00pm with some on call and weekends required.

Reporting to the department supervisor, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of nuclear medicineincluding radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality Control procedures to the highest standard and working as part of a dynamic team. This role also requires the flexibility to work across extended hours to meet demand.

As a highly skilled nuclear medicine technologist you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings.

Key Accountabilities Include

Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
Applicants must be AHPRA Registered
Diagnostic CT accreditation
