Finance Manager
Location: Salisbury, Brisbane
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 FTE (depending on experience and hours worked)
Employment Type: Full-time or Permanent Part-time (school hours considered)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (work from home with regular office attendance) or full-time office-based
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function of our business. This is a replacement role, with the current Finance Manager still in the business to provide a structured handover.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Payroll processing
* Daily bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Monthly management reporting
* Trial balance and general ledger reconciliations
* Supporting cash flow management and financial compliance
* Liaising with external accountants and advisors as required
About You
* CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar finance or management accounting role
* Strong hands-on experience across AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
* Background in public practice and/or SME industry accounting
* Experience in construction, electrical, or trades-based businesses is advantageous but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior management
