Our Business Banking division supports over 10,000 medium to large businesses across Australia, with complex financial needs, lending up to $50m and turnover between $ 15m–$150m. Following a recent internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our team within our specialist Health sector team, offering you the opportunity to develop deep expertise in a dynamic and growing industry.
You'll contribute to meaningful outcomes for healthcare businesses across the country by working closely with Relationship Executives, attending client meetings, and supporting critical lending and credit decisions.
You'll take ownership of complex transactions, deal structuring and build specialist knowledge while laying the foundation for future leadership, mentoring analysts, helping to build capability and foster growth across the team.
What you will do
* Analyse financials and structure commercial banking deals
* Prepare credit submissions and coordinate execution
* Collaborate across Risk, Global Markets, Asset Finance, and more
* Clearly articulate credit merits and mitigate key risks
* Coach and support analysts on complex transactions
We are looking for
* Financial analysis expertise (balance sheets, P&L, cashflow)
* Ability to navigate complex transactions and credit risk
* Experience in Commercial or Business Banking
* A strong team player with solid commercial acumen and a passion for client service
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Commerce
* Strong communication and relationship skills
* Experience in the Health sector would be highly advantageous
