A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Project Manager/Delivery Manager to provide effective leadership and collaboration with stakeholders in managing complex IT projects. You will be responsible for ensuring project scope, budgets and plans are delivered within the agreed timeframe. The role will be based in Canberrawith flexible working arrangement available. The successfulSenior Project Manager/Delivery Manager will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options.
The successfulSenior Project Manager/Delivery Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Assessing and evaluating project performance against agreed plans and implementing strategies to achieve project outcomes
* Managing and leading a team including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards
* Reviewing established technical, operational, administrative activities and project management methodologies
The successfulSenior Project Manager/Delivery Manager will have experience in the following:
* Applied Project Management knowledge with methodologies such as Prince2
* Experience leading a team of multi-disciplined Project Support Officers
* Experience assessing and evaluating project performance against agreed plans
