Horticulture Team Member – NOR & SOR
* $39.20 p/h, casual, Paid weekly
* Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 3.30pm
* 9-day fortnight – Enjoy an extra day off every 2 weeks
About the role
As a member of the WALGA preferred supplier panel, IRP specialises in supplying support to Local Government organisations across Perth. Currently, we have roles available in Parks & Gardens, Mowing teams as well as Streetscapes. Whether you have previous experience working in Local Government or are new to the industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Your day begins at the relevant depot (6.30am), where you will go over the daily maintenance schedule for your team. You will mobilise on Council vehicles, fully equipped with top‐of‐the‐line equipment. Throughout the day you will travel between multiple locations conducting maintenance and upkeep on the public use spaces before returning to the depot for a 3.30pm finish.
Responsibilities
* Assist the team with whipper snipping, blowing, pruning, trimming, hedging, edging, mowing, litter picking, spraying, tree services, and all waste services.
* Follow instructions and fit within the team with a friendly and respectful nature.

Qualifications
* MR (Medium Rigid) Licence where required.
* White Card.
* Extra tickets looked upon favourably (chainsaw, spraying).
* National Police Clearance (within 3-6 months old).
* Certificate III in Horticulture is desirable.
* Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
* Represent our client in a professional, friendly, reliable and helpful manner at all times.
