We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join the team. This internal role is pivotal to supporting both sales and aftersales teams, providing expertise to drive in project sales, ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
You will be the go-to resource for internal staff and customers, playing a key role in quoting, proposals, troubleshooting, and customer engagement across all aspects of engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, quotes, and technical submissions aligned with client requirements.
Deliver frontline support to customers, including technical guidance, product selection assistance, and troubleshooting.
Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information and engineering services.
Coordinate with clients to address pre-sale and after-sales technical queries.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, builders, contractors, engineers, developers, and regulatory consultants.
Identify new business opportunities in the Australian market and contribute to sales.
Support clients in understanding and navigating Australian building approvals compliance, and relevant local council regulations.
Assist in preparing necessary documentation to meet compliance standards and respond to regulatory queries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian building legislation, codes, and industry changes affecting product compliance and approval pathways.
Resolve technical issues and coordinate post-sales support where needed.
Skills & Experience
Suitable aptitude for technical sales dealing with different clientele.
Strong technical understanding, including reading and interpreting architectural drawings, structural plans, and specifications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to build strong client relationships and provide solutions-oriented support.
Strong track record in new business generation, competitor account targeting, and expanding client bases.
Adept at providing pre- and post-sales technical support, tailoring solutions to meet client needs, and building long-term relationships.
Skilled in market analysis, price management, and delivering persuasive presentations to secure new business.
Proven ability to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, achieving volume, margin, and product channel objectives.
Experience in handling clients from multinational corporations and maintaining strong networks of industry contacts.
Skilled in maintaining customer records, competitor databases, and preparing detailed sales and market performance reports.
Team-oriented, working across departments to ensure service excellence, compliance with safety standards, and on-time project delivery.
Valid driver's licence for field-based work.
Willingness to travel for work.
