We have opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our Anglican Care aged care service at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW. This vacancy is a casual position. You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

* An attractive base hourly rate of$55.89per hour(5th yr thereafter) + penalty rates + allowances
Role & Responsibilities:
* Experience in palliative care, knowledge ofAN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
* Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
* Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Current Drivers Licence
About you?
* Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
* Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
* National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
