We are seeking a Construction and Installation Specialist to support our customers and internal teams across South East Queensland and Northern NSW, ensuring our products are installed correctly, safely, and in line with specification.
This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone with strong construction experience who enjoys being on site, working directly with installers and builders, and being the technical authority people rely on.
Our Exterior Systems portfolio includes trusted brands such as Hebel, AFS, Cemintel, PGH and Monier, widely used across residential and commercial construction projects.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager - Commercial, you will play a critical role in supporting and executing the value proposition of CSR's Exterior Systems.
You will work independently in the field, providing practical installation guidance, technical training, site audits, and aftersales support. Your work directly influences customer confidence, repeat business, and CSR's competitive position in the market.
This role supports both residential and commercial construction projects, with the majority of time spent across South East Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
You're practical, credible on site, and comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. You know how construction really works and can translate technical detail into clear, usable guidance.
* Provide practical, on-site installation support and technical advice to builders, installers, and customers
* Deliver product training, toolbox talks, and hands-on demonstrations across the Exterior Systems range
* Conduct site inspections and installation audits, documenting findings and recommendations
* Act as an escalation point for installation and site-related issues, ensuring timely and commercially sound resolutions
* Support Sales teams by attending customer meetings and identifying opportunities for growth
* Develop installer capability through technical documentation, training materials, and best-practice guidance
* Ensure installation activities comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and business requirements
About You
* Solid experience in construction, building materials, or related industries
* A background such as carpentry, building products, civil works, or project delivery (trade qualified or not)
* Experience delivering training or presentations
* Experience conducting site audits and preparing clear reports
* The ability to influence others without direct authority
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Competency with Microsoft Office and CRM-style systems
